Chicken wings are always a hit, and adding a smoky twist makes them nearly irresistible. Once you’ve nailed the basic smoked wing, you can experiment with all kinds of flavors. This recipe is a great starting point that’s worth mastering!

Instructions

  1. 01

Remove the wings from the packaging, then clean and pat them dry.

  2. 02

Evenly cover the wings in salt and place them back in the refrigerator for an hour.

  3. 03

Put one half chimney of lit charcoal on the right side of the Smokin' Pro's cooking chamber and bring the cooker up to 400 degrees and add one piece of smoking wood.

  4. 04

Place the wings on the top rack on the left side of the cooker right below the chimney for 20 minutes.

  5. 05

Flip the wings over for another 20 minutes or until they reach an internal temp of 200 degrees.

  6. 06

Raise the Smokin' Pro's ash pan to its highest level and place the wings directly over the coals for one minute, so they sizzle up.

  7. 07

Toss the wings in your sauce and serve.
