While Halloween or Valentine's Day is great, the day after these holidays is really where it is at. Specifically in the candy aisle. 50% off all candy? Yes, please! We did a lot of research to figure out the perfect brownie recipe and then added a ton of leftover candy to it. It is, in a word, decadent.
We didn't stop there. We also decided to cook it on the Char-Griller AKORN® Kamado Grill because it is so versatile. The chocolate smell plus charcoal...we were in heaven.

Butter baking pan. We used a foil pan so it wouldn't get smoke stains, but any 11 by 9 pan will do.

Add 1/3 of the brownie mixture to the bottom of the pan. Spread evenly.
-
10
Add 1/3 of the candy. (We used the Lava Cake Hersey Kisses and Heath Bar Pieces).
-
11
Add the second third of the brownie batter. Spread as evenly as you can.
-
12
Add the second third of the candy. (We used Hersey Cookie Bar and Butterfinger pieces)

Add the final layer of brownie batter. Spread evenly.
-
14
Add the final pieces if candy to decorate the top. (We used Reese's and M&Ms).
-
15
Bake on the AKORN for 20 to 25 minutes. Use a toothpick to test if it is done.
-

Cool, cut into pieces and enjoy!
